Hello, I’m Wanda Price, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Upper Iowa University. With 25 years of experience in social work, substance use disorders (SUD), homelessness, and pervasive mental health challenges, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective to my work with individuals navigating life’s most difficult seasons.

My goal is to support transformational healing from trauma, substance use, and life dysfunctions by creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, cooperation, empathy, acceptance, and respect. I believe meaningful change begins when people feel seen, heard, valued, and safe enough to explore their experiences.

Through a relationship-centered approach, I work collaboratively with each person to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and develop pathways toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life. I am honored to walk alongside individuals as they discover that healing and transformation are possible.
