I am a temporary-licensed Mental Health Counselor with my master's degree from Crown College and am under the supervision of Dr. David Kaptain. I completed my internship hours at an inpatient facility, for those who were in need of safety and support while finding stability in crisis.

Since entering the counseling field, I have discovered a deep desire to help others who are suffering from past hurts, trauma or are deep in the trenches of motherhood. I desire to create a trusting, safe and sacred place for you to have the ability to process hurts, struggles, pain and with God’s grace, celebrate victories.

A verse that has come to carry great value to me is 1 Peter 5:10, “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” It would be my honor to walk alongside you, navigate suffering and find restoration.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and trauma informed along with using varying techniques to best serve your needs. Mindfulness, DBT skills and Internal Family Systems, are some of the therapeutic techniques that I lean toward using.

Outside of the counseling world, I have been married to my husband for 12 years now, and we have three children. I love gardening and being outside, especially on a crisp cool day, with a coffee in hand. I have a love for cooking and creating, and can be found reading or embroidering in my free time.
