Life can come at us hard and fast, often in ways we never expected. At times, our mind, body, and spirit can struggle to process what life brings our way, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. Sometimes, we simply need someone to walk alongside us and help us find a light in the darkness.

I graduated in 2003 from North Central University, Minneapolis, MN with a BA in Ministry and from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA in 2023 with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges and discover hope, healing, and restoration. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can be heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward greater wholeness.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent 30 years serving in Children's and Family Ministries. This extensive experience has given me a deep understanding of families, relationships, parenting, grief, life transitions, and the unique challenges that can come with ministry and faith communities. I bring that experience into counseling while recognizing that every person's story, beliefs, and journey are unique.

For clients who desire it, I offer a faith-integrated approach to counseling, incorporating Christian faith and spiritual values into the therapeutic process. My desire is to meet you where you are, whether you are seeking counseling from a clinical approach, a faith-based perspective, or simply looking for a compassionate professional to help you navigate a difficult season.

I work with individuals, couples, families, parents, and pastors experiencing a variety of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Coping and adjustment issues

  • Relationship concerns

  • Parent/child conflict

  • Healthy boundaries

  • Domestic abuse

  • Spiritual abuse and church hurt

  • Ministry-related concerns and counseling for pastors

My therapeutic approach draws from several evidence-based modalities, including

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I believe counseling is a partnership. You don't have to walk through difficult seasons alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward greater understanding, healing, hope, and restoration for your mind, body, and spirit.
