My journey has taken me from working with children of all ages in schools to a neurology clinic, where I’ve gained a wealth of experience along the way. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education and am continuing my education at Drake University as I pursue a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This path hasn’t always been straightforward, but every step has taught me something valuable and grown my relationship with the Lord.
My own journey in managing my physical and mental health has fueled my passion for walking alongside others on their journeys. I am excited to bring a variety of modalities to our sessions, tailored to your unique needs. I have a strength based, holistic approach to counseling and believe healing involves our spiritual, emotional, physical and mental well-being. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, finding new restaurants and coffee shops, and going for walks with my husband, Micah, and our dog, Winnie.
